Goal
The Goal widget displays a progress bar on your overlay tracking a stream goal — subscriber count, donation total, follower count, or a custom counter.
Goal Types
- Subscriber goal — tracks active subscribers toward a target count.
- Follower goal — tracks followers gained during the current stream.
- Donation goal — tracks cumulative donations toward a dollar target.
- Custom goal — manually updated counter for any goal (bits, hype train points, etc.).
Setting Up a Goal
- Open the Goal section in the dashboard.
- Select the goal type.
- Set the target (e.g., 500 subscribers, $200 in donations).
- Optionally set a label and start value.
- Save.
The Goal widget in the Compositor will show the progress bar immediately.
Updating Goals Live
For subscription and follower goals, the count updates automatically as events arrive. For donation goals, tips and donations from connected platforms are tracked automatically.
For custom goals, use the dashboard to manually increment, decrement, or set the current value during the stream.
Chat Command
Viewers can check the current goal status with !goal. The bot responds with the current progress and target.
Appearance
The Goal widget supports custom colors for the progress bar fill and background. Set these in the Goal settings or use the theme defaults.
