How to Connect
- Open the dashboard.
- Click your account icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Connected Platforms.
- Click Connect next to the platform you want to add.
- You'll be redirected to that platform's authorization page. Log in and approve access.
- You'll be sent back to the dashboard automatically. The platform now shows as connected.
You can connect multiple platforms at once. Chat from all connected platforms can appear in your overlay simultaneously.
Disconnecting a Platform
To disconnect, go to Connected Platforms and click Disconnect next to the platform. This revokes 4thRock's access. Your overlay URL and settings are not affected — only live data from that platform stops flowing.
Platform-Specific Notes
Kick — Full event support including channel subscriptions and gifts. Chat commands work natively via the Kick API.
Twitch — Follows require Twitch's EventSub webhook. Make sure you authorize the full scope during connection. Bits are not currently tracked as a separate event type.
YouTube — YouTube Live events require an active live stream. Chat and SuperChat work during live sessions only; VODs are not monitored.
TikTok — Gift events are tracked per item. Follows during live sessions are captured.
Reconnecting
If your platform connection stops working (tokens expire, you changed your password, or you revoked access), go back to Connected Platforms and click Reconnect. This re-runs the OAuth flow to get fresh credentials.
See Platform Connection Troubleshooting if you run into issues.
