Connect Your Platform
Before 4thRock can power your chat commands, alerts, and captions, you need to connect the platform you stream on. Connecting authorizes 4thRock to read your channel's chat and stream events so the rest of the toolkit has something to work with.
4thRock supports Kick, Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok. You can connect as many of these as you stream on.
Connect a platform
- Open your 4thRock dashboard and sign in.
- Go to the platform connection section in your dashboard settings.
- Choose the platform you want to connect.
- You will be sent to that platform to authorize 4thRock with your account. Sign in there if needed and approve the access request.
- After you approve, you are returned to the dashboard.
- Confirm the platform now shows as connected.
Repeat these steps for each platform you stream on. Each connection is separate, so connecting one platform does not connect the others.
How each platform connects
- Kick is fully supported, including official webhook integration that delivers your channel's chat and stream events reliably for connected channels.
- Twitch and YouTube connect by authorizing 4thRock through their own sign-in flows.
- TikTok is supported for events such as follows and gifts.
Once a platform is connected, 4thRock reads chat and stream events for that channel automatically.
Check and refresh your connections
Your dashboard shows the current status of every platform you have connected. If a connection expires, re-authorize it from the same place you connected it the first time by choosing the platform and approving access again.
If a connection will not complete or keeps dropping, see Platform Connection troubleshooting.
Next step
