#How It Works

4thRock runs your whole stream from your browser. You configure everything in the web dashboard, add one overlay to OBS, and your stream events drive the widgets automatically. Here is how the pieces fit together.

#The Big Picture

1. Connect your platform account. In the dashboard, link your streaming account for Kick, Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok. This lets 4thRock see your stream events and post to your chat.
2. Add one overlay to OBS. You add a single Browser Source called the overlay. Every visual widget renders through that one overlay, so you only set it up once. See Set Up Your Overlay.
3. Configure each widget in the dashboard. Turn widgets on, style them, and adjust their behavior. Your changes apply live, so there is no need to refresh OBS. See Widgets.
4. Go live and let events flow. As your stream runs, chat messages, follows, subscriptions, donations, and raids flow in and drive your widgets in real time.

#One Overlay, Many Widgets

Instead of adding a separate Browser Source for each feature, you add a single overlay. It loads your alerts, captions, chat, media, giveaway, and goal widgets together and arranges them on screen. You manage their positions and sizes from the dashboard.

#How Events Drive Your Widgets

When something happens on your stream, the matching widget reacts:

• Alerts pop on screen for follows, subscriptions, donations, and raids.
• Text-to-speech reads chat messages and events aloud.
• Live captions transcribe what you say and translate it for your viewers in real time. They appear on your overlay and can be posted to chat. See Translate.
• Chat, media, giveaway, and goal widgets update as viewers interact.

#Where You Manage It

You do all setup in the dashboard at 4throck.cloud. Settings save instantly and update your live overlay, so what you see in the dashboard is what your viewers see.
