Goals
A goal tracks progress toward a target you choose, such as a follower count or a number of subscriptions. As events come in, the goal fills up and shows your audience how close you are.
Set a target
When you create a goal, give it a name and a target number (for example, 100 followers). Progress starts at zero and climbs as the tracked events arrive. You can edit the target at any time; the new value becomes the base target the goal uses going forward.
Perpetual doubling on reach
Goals never stop. When progress reaches the target, the goal fires a one-time celebration in the overlay and then keeps going by doubling the target while carrying your current progress over.
For example, a goal of 10 climbs like this:
- 10 / 10 (reached) becomes 10 / 20
- 20 / 20 (reached) becomes 20 / 40
If a single event pushes you well past the target, the goal doubles repeatedly until the target is once again ahead of your progress. There is no "completed" state and no on/off toggle. The goal is always live and always climbing.
Reset cadence
You can have a goal reset on a schedule instead of climbing forever. Choose one of:
- none - the goal never resets and keeps doubling.
- daily - resets at 00:00 UTC each day.
- weekly - resets at 00:00 UTC on Monday.
- monthly - resets at 00:00 UTC on the 1st.
On a reset, progress returns to zero and the target returns to your original base target. All boundaries are UTC, so they may not line up with your local midnight.
Place it in Appearance
Add the goal to your scene in the Appearance, where you can position, size, and style it alongside your other overlays. The goal updates live as progress changes and flashes the celebration when a target is reached.
